Pianist, composer and arranger.
Degree in Argentinian Music at San Martin University.
He has worked and performed as a pianist, composer and arranger in “Orquestas típicas”, duets, trios, quintets and sextets.
As a soloist, he performed in the album “Carlos García Reinterpretado”, by Leda Torres, recorded at the theatre CCK in Buenos Aires. This album was nominated the Carlos Gardel award.
He has also recorded solo piano music by legendary pianists such as Lucio Demare, Nicolás Ledesma and Hilda Herrera.
His piano transcriptions and performance of the Carlos García and Marinero Montes duets have won him the “Activar Patrimonio” award. Such reinterpretation of this music was recorded with Argentinian bandoneonist Jorge Sequeira in audio and video at the CCK´s hall of honor during 2021. He has also recorded a tango duet with the violinist Ramiro Gallo.
Currently, he performs as a pianist at the “Quinteto Versalles” in which he is also a composer and arranger, and as a pianist and conductor at the National Technological University quartet.
He is also producing his first documentary series titled “The piano in tango” in collaboration with audio visual artist Rodrigo Noya. Such work is about the origin and evolution of piano in tango throughout the XX century; and in its different roles, such as conductors, arrangers, soloists, etc. The academic research for this documentary was part of his thesis for the Argentinian music degree at San Martin University. It has been awarded the support of “Mecenazgo cultural” by the Buenos Aires city government, and also the Creation award by the National Arts found.
As a theater pianist he performed in “Volvé. Relato tangueado” and “Discepolín, fanático arlequín” by Daniel Casablanca.
Between 2011 and 2015 he was the pianist, conductor and arranger of the “Orquesta Típica Cambio de Frente”, with whom he recorded the album “Festejo” in 2013.
As a teacher he worked as a music language teacher at the National Youth Orchestras Program from 2014 to 2019. He is currently teaching such subject at Esteban Echeverria´s Orchestra.
He has been teaching private tango piano lessons and music arrangements since 2008.
He has studied piano tango with Maestros Hernan Possetti, Pablo Fraguela; harmony with Diego Schissi and tango arrangements with Ramiro Gallo and Lisandro Baum, among others.
He studied academic piano with Elba Lanata and Carmen Pepe.
